Tasting Note

Our Firepit Red has garnered an intense fan club over the years for its luscious, full bodied style. Petite Sirah is often an important part of the blend, so what would a Petite Sirah taste like in the “Firepit” style?” The answer is delicious, as this wine’s numerous Best of Show, Double Gold and Gold awards tell us. The wine’s aromatics hint at blackberry jam on buttered toast, baking spices and chocolate malt. On the palate, blueberry muffin, fruit leather and herbed butter compliment the plushy body, firm tannins and bright acidity. This wine is ready to drink now, but age it through 2024 to bring out more of its savoury side.
